Suspected scam involving IKICI

The FMA recommends exercising caution before dealing with IKICI. We are aware that a New Zealand resident was unable to recover the bitcoins they paid to IKICI for trading purposes. 

IKICI is not a registered financial service provider or regulated to provide financial services in New Zealand. 

The following overseas regulators have cautioned the public about IKICI:

• Read the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority warning about IKICI as an unauthorised firm on 14 Oct 2022 
• Read the Belize International Financial Services Commission warning issued on 24 Nov 2022.
