FMA COVID-19 Vaccination Protocol

The health, safety and wellbeing of our people, and those who visit our offices, is our number one priority. We want to do everything we can to keep each other safe and stop COVID‑19 from spreading.

To help us minimise the risk of COVID-19 being transmitted at work, we have introduced a protocol which requires anyone working in or visiting any FMA office (or attending any events we host on or off-site) to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19. This policy will come into effect on Monday 6 December.

If you’re visiting an FMA office, or attending an event that we’re hosting, in addition to using the COVID-19 tracer app to scan in on arrival, we will ask you for proof of your vaccination status by requesting to sight your My Vaccine Pass. No details of your pass will be kept or stored. If you prefer, there is always the option to meet virtually.

The FMA is committed to treating any personal information we may collect about you in relation to your vaccination status (vaccination information) responsibly in accordance with our legal obligations. Download our Privacy Notice: COVID-19 vaccine information.

Do not visit our office if you are sick

If you have been sick with cold or flu symptoms OR been in close contact with a confirmed or probable case of covid-19 OR if you have any of the following symptoms you will need to either attend the meeting virtually or reschedule your meeting.

COVID-19 symptoms

  • a new or worsening cough
  • a fever of at least 38°C
  • shortness of breath
  • sore throat
  • sneezing and runny nose
  • temporary loss of smell.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your cooperation as we implement this new policy, we acknowledge this has been a challenging time for many. We will continue to review our vaccination requirement to make sure that it stays relevant as New Zealand’s Covid-19 situation evolves.
