We have received a report that a representative from Finance Group Corp (FGC) of Vanuatu AND / or Cent Projects Ltd (CPL) of the Seychelles approached a New Zealand resident via Instagram in order to promote dealing through the website www.24startrade.com (the website) and has withheld client funds. Neither FGC or CPL are registered to provide financial services in New Zealand. The FMA recommends exercising caution before dealing with the website as it has the characteristics of a scam. In addition, we note that the Autorité des marchés financiers and the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de resolution in France have recently published a warning about another website (www.BinaryCent.com) also operated by FGC AND CPL.
