MR No. 2018 – 49
23 November 2018

The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) today published its second statistical report on peer to peer lending and crowd funding in New Zealand. The industry is required to submit an annual information return each year.

The report uses the data from that questionnaire to provide a snapshot of the sector for the 12 month period ending 30 June 2018. The information helps us to understand the businesses we regulate and determine the focus and priority of our monitoring activities.

It has been published in Tableau to enable the industry, media and interested members of the public to engage and interact with the data.

Information for investors on crowd funding and peer to peer lending can be found here.
