WBroker and Waton Broker – Suspected boiler room scams, international warnings

We are aware that Wbroker and Waton Broker are operating boiler room scams. 

Boiler room scams involve scammers using high-pressure tactics, often via phone, email, or social media, to sell worthless or fictitious investments. Victims are lured with fake, initially profitable deals, then coerced into investing more, ultimately losing their money.

WBroker and Waton Broker claim to be associated with a deregistered New Zealand financial service provider (FSP546286). We recommend caution when dealing with any entity claiming to be a New Zealand financial service provider using this registration number.

The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong has issued public warnings about websites operated or associated with WBroker and Waton Broker.
