Soltcll.net – False NZ company claims, fake NZ company and insurance certificates

Soltcll.net falsely claims to be a New Zealand company. 

It displays a fake company incorporation certificate on its website for a New Zealand-registered company named Solana Trustee Company Limited (NZBN: 9429046285126), which has no association with Soltcll.net. 

Soltcll.net also displays a fake certificate of insurance, claiming to have up to $20 million insurance cover through the “Central Bank of New Zealand”. This is not valid. 

We are concerned Soltcll.net is involved in a scam.

How to confirm the connection between a New Zealand company and a website or platform

  1. Compare the details printed on the company incorporation certificate shown on its website or shared with you with what is shown on the New Zealand Companies Register. 

  2. Contact the company directly by using the official contact details of the company you have found yourself online. Do not use any contact details given to you or displayed on the website or platform. 

  3. Confirm with the company whether it is associated with that website or platform. 

  4. Look for other red flags, such as having an overseas telephone number while saying they are New Zealand-based.
