We recommend exercising extreme caution when dealing with Galaxygoldtraders.com or any of its duplicate websites listed in this warning. We suspected these websites are being used as part of an investment scam.
We are aware of a New Zealand resident who is unable to withdraw funds after investing through Galaxygoldtraders.com.
They were initially asked to pay fees for the release of funds, but after paying them, no funds were released and they were told the account was now frozen.
Additional ”tax payments” were then requested. We believe that even if these additional payments are made, no funds will ever be released.
We note that Galaxygoldtraders.com and its duplicate websites share identical website structure, content, and text with Defi.qtnimint.top, which has been the subject of a warning by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority (FSA) - Scam Alert: Qtum (SC) Ltd:
Fraudulent company (the “fraudulent company”) and Unauthorized use of website (the “unlawful websites”).
The FSA has advised that Qtum (SC) Ltd, which operates Defi.qtnimint.top, is falsely claiming to be licensed in Seychelles.
Given the clear similarities between Galaxygoldtraders.com and Defi.qtnimint.top, including layout and licensing claims, we are concerned that Galaxygoldtraders.com and its duplicate websites may be making similar false or misleading representations.
