Endowment 65 Program (E65 Program) – Advance fee scams targeting members of the E65 Program

The FMA is concerned that participants in a scheme called the Endowment 65 Program are being targeted by advance fee scams.

We have received a report from an individual who was approached by a party claiming to facilitate payouts from the original E65 Program. The individual was instructed to make upfront payments in cryptocurrencies to process the payout.

The FMA warns anyone who has participated in the scheme to be cautious when being contacted by individuals or entities claiming they can arrange payouts:

• Do not send money or share personal information.
• Verify who you are dealing with before taking any action.
• Be alert to requests for upfront fees, especially those involving cryptocurrency transfers.
