The FMA recommends caution when dealing with ACE International Ltd, its website ACEInternational.co.nz, or its former director Dennis Paul. ACE International Ltd has offered financial services to the New Zealand public without the proper licence and registration, and Mr Paul has made misleading claims promoting cryptocurrency schemes to New Zealand investors.
Promotion of cryptocurrency platform linked to convicted pyramid scheme promoter
Mr Paul has encouraged investors to pay money to the Ultron Foundation, which he linked to ACE International. Mr Paul made misleading claims about the risks associated with investing in the Ultron Foundation, saying Ultron Foundation investors would benefit without any risk of losing their investment. Any investment in cryptocurrency carries risk, and the FMA has particular concerns about The Ultron Foundation.
The Ultron Foundation is a cryptocurrency platform directly associated with MaVie Global. MaVie Global is one of the schemes promoted in New Zealand by convicted pyramid scheme promoter Shelly Cullen.
