Market Operator Obligations Targeted Review – NZX

In 2020, NZX suffered significant technology incidents that caused disruption and halted market activity.

Following these incidents, the FMA carried out a review to assess whether NZX is meeting its obligation to have sufficient technological resources. We also considered whether any failure to have sufficient technological resources has impacted NZX’s ability to meet its other licensed market operator obligations.
