GPI Consultants – Cold calling, not registered in New Zealand

We are urging caution when dealing with GPI Consultants (GPI) and its website.

A New Zealand-based complainant received an unsolicited ‘cold call’ from someone representing GPI and offering an investment in ‘B2Gold’. This was followed by an emailed prospectus.

GPI’s website offers investments in hedge funds, real estate and private equities but it is not listed on the Financial Services Provider Register and so is not registered to provide financial products or services to New Zealand residents.
