Unregistered businesses

This list contains the names of businesses or individuals that are not registered as a financial service provider on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR) in New Zealand but may be in the business of providing financial services. An individual or entity that is in the business of providing a financial service to clients in New Zealand should be registered on the FSPR for that service. Not being registered on the FSPR may mean they are not complying with the requirements of New Zealand legislation.

The list is not exhaustive. Prior to engaging, we recommend checking that the Advisor is registered on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSPR).

AG Markets

AG Markets is not to provide financial advice services in New Zealand.

Profitix, Enigma GRC Limited and True Capital Pro

We recommend exercising caution before dealing with Profitix, Enigma GRC Limited and True Capital Pro as all entities are not listed on the FSPR and are not incorporated in New Zealand.

GC Group Limited

The FMA is concerned GCG’s website contains misleading statements that have the potential to mislead investors on the extent to which GCG is a regulated or licensed entity in New Zealand and in overseas jurisdictions.

EvisionFX Group

We are concerned that New Zealand investors could be targeted by EvisionFX Group under the misrepresentation that they are regulated in NZ when they are not.

Lonni Investment

Lonni Investment is not licensed or regulated in New Zealand as a financial service provider.

Safumax Group Limited

The FMA is concerned that Safumax Group Limited (SGL) is operating from a false address, and www.safumax.com contains misleading information that SGL is a licensed entity and regulated in New Zealand, when it is not the case.

Forexbrokerz

We are concerned that statements on Forexbrokerz’s website, https://www.forexbrokerz.com/ have the potential to mislead investors on the extent the New Zealand financial service providers listed on the website are regulated/licensed in New Zealand and the existing regulatory framework in New Zealand.

Christoph Feymann Capital

We have received complaints about unreasonable withholding of client funds by Christoph Feymann Capital. It is not registered as a financial service provider in New Zealand, therefore, it is not permitted to provide financial services to New Zealand residents.

Dang Kang International Group

The FMA recommends exercising caution when dealing with Dang Kang International Group as it is not registered, licensed, or regulated in New Zeland as claimed on its websites and could be involved in a scam.

Trinity Investments Limited

The FMA is concerned that Trinity Investments Limited could be involved in a scam. Trinity Investments Limited is not registered as a financial service provider in New Zealand, therefore, is not permitted to provide financial services to New Zealand residents.

Willow Group Limited

Willow Group Limited is not registered nor licensed to provide financial services in New Zealand. We have received a report of Willow Group Limited making unsolicited contact with New Zealand residents offering investment services from Hong Kong. Read more.
