Notice

1 Title

This notice is the Securities Markets Act (NZX Participant Rules) Approval of Market Rules Notice 2013.

2 Commencement

This notice comes into force on 11 November 2013.

3 Interpretation

(1) In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires, -

Act means the Securities Markets Act 1988
NZX means NZX Limited
registered market means a securities market that is registered under section 36F of the Act

(2) Any term or expression that is defined in the Act and used, but not defined, in this notice has the same meaning as in the Act.

4 Approval of market rules

The NZX Limited Participant Rules dated 8 November 2013 are approved as market rules for the registered markets operated by NZX.

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice comes into force on 11 November 2013. The notice allows for NZX Limited to replace the NZX Limited Participant Rules dated 24 August 2012 with the NZX Limited Participant Rules dated 8 November 2013.
