This guide explains how to apply to become an Authorised Financial Adviser (AFA). It also explains how to apply to make changes to your authorisation status and lists the reasons we may have to terminate the authorisation.

Before beginning your application you should make sure you have read and understood the Financial Advisers Act 2008, the Code of Professional Conduct (the Code) and the Standard Conditions for Authorised Financial Advisers.
