Financial Markets Conduct (NZCDC Settlement System) Exemption Notice 2019

Summary:  The Financial Markets Conduct (NZCDC Settlement System) Exemption Notice 2019 continues the relief granted in Financial Markets Conduct (NZCDC Settlement System) Exemption Notice 2014, which is revoked at the close of 30 November 2019.  The notice comes into force on 1 December 2019 and is revoked at the close of 30 November 2024. The notice provides relief for clearing and depository participants from the substantial holding disclosure requirements of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 for interests that arise in the course of certain clearing and settlement activities and not on participants’ own accounts.
